Frequently asked questions
Yes you can use most any SUP pump. The only caveat is that the pump will need to push sufficient air to inflate the FloorBoost to the required psi. Your pump should be at a minimum a two stage pump with the first stage being a minimum of 380 lpm and the second stage being a minimum of 70 lpm. Our supplied pump guarantees lifting of up to 225 pounds at 450/70 lpm.
Are you using an approved pump? Is it working properly? Remove the connection and reseat the air-hose prior to attempting the inflation again. Be sure you are not exceeding the suggested weight limit. If you are able, try pushing back gently with your feet in order to allow air to flow more freely towards the front of the FloorBoost. If you are a caregiver, try to gently pull back on the seat back.
The FloorBoost pump operates in two stages. In the first stage, air is rapidly drawn into the FloorBoost. The second stage is the high-pressure phase, which completes the inflation process to your desired psi. You will notice a distinct change in sound between the two stages, this is completely normal.
